Dread And Puissant Champion of The Fae "Jesus Mom." Tim said upon seeing the new apartment. He had actually seen it before of course, but somehow seeing it now, furnished and finished made it more impressive. There were two floors. The first was mostly open space but with kitchen, dining and living room almost all one room. It was huge by Tim's reckoning. Faust's study/laboratory and Mom's studio were off to the side. The bedrooms were upstairs. The comparison to this massive living space, and the one bedroom affair he'd lived in most of his life floored him momentarily. He had to stand for a moment and just stare. "Yo Desmond, you're blocking traffic. Get outta the way." Stunned into action this time, Tim stepped away from the door, and spun on his heel at the same time. That was a voice he hadn't heard in awhile. "Neil. And Eleziane." he said brilliantly. "And T'ing." said T'ing from the door to the studio. She'd been admiring his mother's latest masterpiece. "Jesus." he said again. This was going to be some Thanksgiving. The rest of the night mostly consisted of Tim regaling them all with tales of his adventures. From his landlords, his job, to meeting a former king of England who seemed to be a bit bitter about Tim's friendship with Gwynn. T'ing managed to not wince at the mention of Gwynn or of the lingering affection she detected in Tim's tone when he spoke of her. "Uncle Tim!" A chorus of wee tiny voices preceded Tim finding himself glomped by a trio of blond toddlers. Of those present, Tim, T'ing, and the kids' parents, Teleri the Banshee and Runyon the Luchorpan, Tim was the only one not finding this immensely amusing. He just felt uncomfortable. "Sure and we've missed ye milord." Teleri laughed. "And ye as well T'ing." "Absolutely!" Master Runyon echoed. "Come take a seat doll," he smiled at T'ing. "Tell us all the news from the outside. Entertainment news especially. We'll give herself and Tim an opportunity to pry the little dames off." ( Cut for Linkdroppy Goodness ) Current music: All I Wanna Do- Sheryl Crow. Today was the day Tim's new room mate was moving in. This was a bit like how he'd felt the first day of school the past two years. Only more so because who knew what sort of fun a Fandom roommate would bring. Tim had nothing but respect and affection for the Female sex, but he was glad to be male again. Especially in time for the Busch Gardens. "All right! All aboard for harmless thrills and adventure." Tim grinned, throwing open the door to the van. "Next stop, Fake Europe!" [Sorry to post so late but was busy. OCD is coming.] Tim felt like a peeping tom just looking at himself in the mirror, and had only tried crossing his arms across his chest once. But with a glass of Elven wine in his hand he felt better already. [Open for the roomie.] Tim had had some bad dreams in the past but last night's had taken the cake. He had slept all of two, maybe three hours, and since had been doing whatever he could to keep from going back to sleep. Maybe in an hour or two he'd be over it enough. Into the second half of the summer already. It was hard to believe how fast the time went sometimes. His storytelling class had gone rather well. He liked how the vacation class was going so far too. It would be sad to leave the island again when the summer was done. It had not disappointed in terms of strange things happening, nor of cool people to meet. Though back home continued to drop some fun stuff in his lap too. It was probably a good thing that he hadn't actually expected to see any of his old friends here. It made the fact that while he and Gwynn were able to catch up, the spark between them was gone, easier to take. Plus she was dating his old room mate. Heh. Catching up with some of his friends at the dance had been quite nice as well. *BZZT!* Aha! He went to the oven and removed the cake that had been baking in there. He'd heard on the radio that Veronica had celebrated her birthday and out of guilt for missing it, he was making her a cake. With a recipe he'd gotten off the internet. [Open!] My computer's fixed! I'm back! And just in time for Tim's last storytelling class! Normal posting will begin shortly. Tim/Leda/Tully/Robin/and others Mun here. I apologize for dropped threads and absence but my computer problems continue unabated. I hope to be back soon, but I don't know for sure. |
